well behaved women rarely make history

Being “good” won’t save you — but being Feral just might

A Feral Manifesto (for Dangerous Women + the men who love them)

We’ve been told all our lives:
Turn the other cheek. Take the high road. Be the bigger person.

Sounds holy, right?

Except it wasn’t meant to free us. It was meant to tame us.

It spiritualized compliance. It trained us to confuse endurance with virtue. It made us swallow disrespect and call it grace.

But here’s what every Dangerous Woman* eventually learns:

  • Silence is complicity.
    * "Being good” will not save you.
    * Politeness will not dismantle coercive systems.

Cristina Yang showed us that on her almost-wedding day in Grey’s Anatomy. She didn’t want the dress. She didn’t want the wedding. She didn’t want to shrink into Burke’s rules. And when it all collapsed, her nervous system sighed in relief.

That wasn’t drama. That was her body telling the truth.

And here’s the kicker: standing in your truth, refusing to collude, actually heals your nervous system. Compliance doesn’t create oxytocin — pleasure in resistance does.

So here’s our rally cry:

We are not here to be family mules, scapegoats, or “good girls” who make opportunists comfortable.
We are here to be free.
We are here to be magnificently whole.

🌿 In this week’s episode of the Feral Podcast, we’re naming the patterns, regulating our nervous systems in real time, and cutting ourselves out of the dresses that were never ours to wear.

👉 Question for you: What dresses have you cut yourself out of to become fully YOU, at this time? Comment on the video — I’d love to hear.

With love (and matriarchy rising),

P.S. Who are the Dangerous Women?
Late-diagnosed ADHD. First-born daughters. Survivors of high-control religion and/or narcissistic family systems. We were raised to support their structures, not to grow into our own potential.

The latest neuroscience shows: if you were born with a uterus, your regulating hormone is oxytocin — the bonding hormone. That’s why resisting, reclaiming, and reconnecting heals at the cellular level. (And if you’re neurodiverse, the path is a little different — we’re covering that too in the video.)

And yes, this is wildly spiritual. Transforming long-standing generational patterns into something more creative, alive, and nourishing? That’s sacred work. Right now we’re living under astrological transits the world hasn’t seen in 10–12,000 years. Pluto is out of bounds for the next 8 weeks, giving us a golden opportunity to break generational contracts that we never consciously agreed to. This moment is nothing short of evolutionary.

So — have I scared you off yet? ~
Or are you ready to join us? The fun's only just getting started.
